Bikaner: Intelligence agencies in Rajasthan have arrested a railway employee who was allegedly honey-trapped by a Pakistani woman and found spying for Pakistan.

The accused, identified as Bhavani Singh, worked as a point man in the railways and was in contact with the female agent through social media. Officials said he provided confidential information about army activities in Bikaner in exchange for money.

During surveillance of Pakistani intelligence operations in the state, agencies traced calls made by Bhavani Singh to the Pakistani woman, identified as Nimmi.

Following close monitoring, Singh was detained from the Mahajan railway station area and was arrested after detailed interrogation.

Officials also recalled a similar case from February last year when Vikram Singh, who ran a canteen at the Mahajan field firing range, was arrested for being in contact with Pakistani women.
