Chetna, a three-year-old girl who fell into a borewell in Kotputli, Rajasthan has finally been rescued after ten days and five failed attempts. After being rescued, she was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead and sent her body for post-mortem.

Jaipur: Chetna, a three-year-old girl who fell into a borewell in Kotputli, Rajasthan has finally been rescued after ten days and five failed attempts. After being rescued, she was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead and sent her body for post-mortem.
Chetna was stuck in a 700-feet borewell in Badiyali ki Dhani of Kiratpura village of Kotputli. She had fallen in on December 23, while playing. About 10 minutes later, the family heard the girl crying and found her stuck in the borewell.
The NDRF team dug a tunnel parallel to the borewell and took out the girl. NDRF Rajasthan Chief Yogesh Meena said that the girl was taken out in an unconscious state, there was no movement in the body when she was taken out.
Collector Kalpana Agarwal explained that the borewell was tilted after a certain depth, which led to mistakes. Finally, experts from Delhi and Jaipur Metro were called in to assist the rescue teams.
