Kozhikode: A woman had a miraculous escape after a truck moving in front of her scooty lost control and started moving backwards in Kerala's Kozhikode on Friday. The incident was recorded on camera, and its video went viral on social media. The incident took place on the uphill stretch of the road from Peringalam town at around 7:30 am, reported The Times of India.
In the video, it could be seen that the truck lost control on an incline and rolled back. Ashwathi, a resident of Ozhyadi, was just behind the truck when the incident took place. The vehicle hit Ashwathi's scooty and she fell on the road.

The truck reportedly stopped after hitting a tree alongside the road. As per the TOI report, the truck carrying hollow bricks was heading towards the medical college when the incident took place. The driver of the truck suddenly stopped the vehicle on the incline due to he lost control.
After hearing Ashwathi's screams, locals rushed to the spot and rescued the woman. She was then taken to a hospital.
It is not clear whether any action was taken against the driver of the truck.
