Bijnor (Uttar Pradesh), February 20, 2025: A wedding celebration in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, turned into a battlefield when a disagreement over food service delay led to a massive fight. The argument quickly escalated, with guests throwing punches and even chairs at each other. Two people were seriously injured and are currently receiving treatment at the hospital. The incident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media.
What Happened?
The incident took place in Govardhanpur village which falls under the Afzalgarh Police Station area. As per reports, Sabir, who is a resident of the village, was managing the food arrangements at his daughter’s wedding. The groom's family had come from Sipahiowala, Syohara.
The trouble started when some young men from the groom’s side demanded that food be served immediately. When Sabir asked them to be patient, they became angry. Soon, members from both sides got involved in an argument, and the wedding atmosphere turned chaotic.
Fight Turns Violent
The dispute quickly turned into a physical fight, with guests kicking, punching and throwing chairs at each other. Two people were severely injured in the fight and had to be rushed to the hospital. Meanwhile, some guests recorded the fight and shared the video on social media. The video is now going viral on social media.
Police Action
After the fight, a complaint was filed with the Afzalgarh police. The police have registered a case and assured that proper legal action will be taken against those responsible into the matter.
