'Mamata Let Bengal Burn To Secure Votes,' Says Union Minister Shekhawat On CM's Silence Over Hindu Attacks
Condemning the West Bengal CM, Shekhawat said that the situation being created in the state—under the protection of the government and for the sake of vote bank politics—is both unfortunate and condemnable.

Accusing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of remaining silent on the communal unrest in the state, Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat alleged that attacks are being carried out against the majority Hindu community, while Banerjee has allowed Bengal to burn in a bid to secure votes.
“Majority Hindus have been continuously attacked since Ram Navami in West Bengal. They are being harassed on religious grounds, temples are being vandalised, and women are being mistreated. Yet, Mamata Banerjee's government remains silent. To garner votes, it has abandoned Bengal and allowed the majority Hindu community to suffer,” Shekhawat told the media in Jodhpur on Sunday.
