Groom Allegedly Pulled Down From Horse By Collar As Goons Attack Wedding Procession After Argument Over DJ In Agra (VIDEO)
Reportedly, An altercation took place between the people in the wedding procession and the people staying in the locality over the DJ being played. After the altercation escalated, they came armed with sticks and sharp weapons and attacked the wedding procession.

Agra: A shocking incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Agra. Miscreants on Wednesday allegedly attacked a wedding procession after a dispute between two groups over the DJ playing songs in the wedding procession.
Reportedly, the attackers came with sticks and swords. The groom was pulled down from the horse by grabbing his collar. The miscreants started chasing and beating people including the baratis.
There was panic among the wedding guests. A video of the incident has surfaced in which a group of men can be seen beating the members of the weeding possession with sticks. People screaming can also be heard in the video. As per local reports, many people suffered serious head injuries were rushed to the hospital.
People started running here and there to save themselves from the assault. The police control room was informed. However, even in the presence of police, the miscreants kept beating the wedding procession members.
Anita, the bride's mother said, "Priyanka's wedding procession had come from Mathura on Wednesday. The procession was leaving from Sri Krishna Marriage Home at around 9:30 pm. Then Manoj, Ajit, Saurabh, Ankit, Pradeep, Aman, Sanjay, Sachin, Ajay and 20-25 unknown people from the Kshatriya community attacked the wedding procession," reported Navbharat Times.
Altercation Over DJ Being Played
Reportedly, an altercation took place between the people in the wedding procession and local residents over the DJ being played. After the altercation escalated, they came armed with sticks and sharp weapons and attacked the wedding procession.

Reacting to the incident Agra police said, "On receiving information regarding a dispute over playing DJ in a wedding procession , the police took immediate action and got the injured medically examined and on the basis of the complaint received, a case has been registered under relevant sections and legal action is being taken."
Preliminary investigation has reveled, the groom was not brought down from the horse and no incident of assault on him took place. The wedding was later conducted in a safe and proper manner.
The police also said, "On the basis of the complaint received, efforts are being made to arrest the accused by registering a case under relevant sections. Soon the accused will be arrested and necessary legal action will be taken. "
Former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and BSP chief Mayawati has reacted to the incident.
In a post on social media platform X, she said that the recent incident of violence by casteist and feudal elements against a Dalit wedding procession in Agra, along with the rising incidents of atrocities and injustices against the poor and Dalits in various districts of Uttar Pradesh, is extremely concerning. She added that during the BSP regime, the government was always seen standing with the victims against injustice.
