Elderly Man Praying At Roadside Temple Crushed To Death By Speeding Crane In Gujarat's Kutch- Video

Kutch: A disturbing incident has come to light from Gujarat's Kutch,in the Mundra area on Wednesday evening, a 55-year-old, was offering prayers outside the Rokadiya Hanumanji Temple, was crushed to death by a speeding crane, reported Aaj tak.

The elderly man has been identified as Ummedbhai Jalendrabhai Jhala.The incident occurred between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. and was captured by the nearby CCTV camera.

The CCTV footage shows the elderly man engaged in prayer when he is crushed to death by the speeding crane. The video shows the crane driver fleeing the scene after fatally crushing the elderly man.

Locals Stage Protest

Following the incident, enraged local residents staged a protest by sitting on the road in opposition to the reckless operation of heavy vehicles, causing traffic disruptions for some time.

Police Action

The police have arrested the crane driver and initiated further probe in underway.
