Delhi Man Alleges Trainee IPS Officer Hit Him With Glass At Wedding Function; Video Of Brawl Surfaces
In his post, Vikas Dayal further alleged that Rahul is a serial offender, stating that after his selection through UPSC, he has gone on a rampage, assaulting people.

A social media user, Vikas Dayal, alleged in a social media post on Saturday that he was physically assaulted by trainee IPS officer Rahul Balhara at a wedding function. Vikas also shared footage of the incident, in which Rahul Balhara can allegedly be seen hitting him on the head with a whiskey glass, causing him to collapse at the scene.
Vikas claimed that Rahul Balhara inflicted a severe head injury on him with the glass without any provocation.
The video shared by Vikas included an image showing him with blood all over his face and clothes.
In his post, he further alleged that Rahul is a serial offender, stating that after his selection through UPSC, he has gone on a rampage, assaulting people.
He also claimed that a police complaint was filed by him after the incident, but no FIR has been registered.
In another post, he said: "The police didn’t take any action on my complaint about the life-threatening attack by IPS trainee Rahul Balhara, which is clearly visible on CCTV. But now, after my Twitter post, the ‘upright’ Delhi Police lodged a complaint against me, even though I didn’t lay a finger on anyone."
According to Vikas, a cameraman at the wedding function recorded the incident, while over 100 guests witnessed the assault.
He appealed to the public to spread his post so that Rahul Balhara does not go unpunished for his actions.
