Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 Results: Despite Setbacks, Arvind Kejriwal Holds Ground With Strong Vote Share

Arvind Kejriwal may be down but he is definitely not out if the vote percentage of Delhi Assembly elections is anything to go by. While many would be quick to pen his political obituary, the AAP leader has garnered nearly 43.3 per cent votes despite heavy odds.

However, the BJP can rake solace in the fact that this time it was able to arrest the slide limits vote share, which it had experienced in the earlier Lok Sabha polls,

In 2013 Assembly elections, when the AAP had formed its first government in Delhi with the outside support of the Congress, the BJ had won 31 seats, the AAP 28 and the Congress 8. In terms of vote percentage, the BJP had secured 33.0; AAP 295 and Congress 24.5,

In 2015, AAP came to power on its own when it won 67 seats and the BIP got a miniscule 3 while the Congress failed to open its account.
