'Ch*t*y* Samjha Hai Kya': Girl In Viral Video Leaves Scammer Speechless; Saves Herself From Being Duped
The scammer claims that her father wanted money transferred to her UPI account and says he will send her Rs 12,000.

Scammers have devised thousands of tactics to dupe people. In one such tactic, they call potential victims while posing as relatives or friends of their relatives. They try to convince people that they have accidentally transferred extra money and ask them to return the excess amount.
But here's the catch: they never actually transfer any money to the victim's account. Instead, they trick the victim into sending money under the pretense of returning the "extra" amount.
A video has been making the rounds on the internet where a scammer calls a young woman to dupe her, but her cleverness leaves him speechless.
In the video, the woman receives a call from a scammer pretending to be a friend of her father. Sensing something suspicious, she plays along to gather more information.
The scammer claims that her father wanted money transferred to her UPI account and says he will send her Rs 12,000.
He first lies about sending Rs 10,000, even sending a fake SMS from a personal number (not a bank). Then he falsely claims to have mistakenly sent Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 2,000, attempting to trick her into “returning” Rs 18,000.
Cleverly, the girl edits the fake SMS to make it appear as though she had sent Rs18,000 back to him and forwards this fabricated message.
When she tells him, “There, I have also sent you Rs 18,000,” the scammer is completely stunned. Admitting defeat, he says, “Maan gaya main aapko, beta” (I acknowledge you, child). Before he can hang up the call, she asks if he really thought she was that dumb.
Have a look at the video here:
The video has drawn reactions from social media users, with many praising the girl's presence of mind.
"That was great presence of mind," wrote one user.
"Beauty with brains," commented another.
However, some users suspected that the video was staged.
