A pickup truck loaded with doda-post (Poppy Straw) mowed down people and crashed into a shop in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar on Monday. The vehicle also rammed into a police van before the crash. Reportedly, three people, including a police constable, were injured in the incident. The incident took place on Monday evening around 7 PM. The accused smuggler, who was attempting to flee from the police, was nabbed at the spot.

The smuggler was thrown out of the vehicle due to the impact of the crash. The video of the entire incident has surfaced on the internet and is going viral on social media.
Police had received prior information regarding doda-post smuggling and were intercepting the accused. As the suspect entered the Sameja area, police set up a barricade near a food joint crossing to catch him. He was injured after the crash, still he attempted to escape on foot but was caught by local residents.
