Patna: Bihar Congress MLA Shakeel Ahmad Khan's son reportedly died by suicide. The MLA's son hanged himself in his room. However, the reason as to why Ayan Khan took the extreme step is not known.
The incident occurred at his official residence, located in the Secretariat police station area. Police reached the spot after getting information. An investigation has been launched into the matter.

BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain expressed shock over the incident, He said that Ayan Khan was very nice. "Shakil Ahmad Khan's son Ayan Khan died by suicide. It is extremely unfortunate. Shakeel Ahmad Khan is not at home right now, he was in Ahmedabad and is coming back soon. His son was very nice and he was studying for his exams. Everything was fine at home, and despite that, he took such a shocking step," Hussain told ANI.
Khan is the MLA from the Kadwa assembly seat in Bihar. He is also a National secretary of the Congress. Khan is party-in-charge for West Bengal.
