Bengaluru To Experience Light Rainfall With Cloudy Skies; Chilly Weather Ahead
The city is set to receive light rainfall on Wednesday. Due to the impact of Cyclone Fengal, IMD has advised people, especially fishermen, to avoid venturing near the sea. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to range between 20 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius.

Bengaluru: The city is experiencing a change in its weather, offering the citizens chilly temperatures due to Cyclone Fengal's impact. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to hover around 20 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city is set to experience light rainfall on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. The city woke up at 06:28 am and the sun is expected to set at 5:52.
The humidity level is expected to range around 69 per cent which is lower than the humidity level on Tuesday. Today, the wind is expected to blow steadily from the East at a speed of 14 km/h and the Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 46 which indicates good air quality in the city and it's adjoining areas.

The IMD has predicted cloudy skies, which are likely to remain the same throughout the day. Lightning and thunderstorms are likely to occur with rainfall. Today, scattered moderate rain with thunderstorms are expected in North Interior Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, and coastal regions of the state.
Taking the IMD as a source, the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared the weather report on X and said, "Scattered to moderate rain with thundershowers is expected in the southern interior, coastal and rainfed districts of the state today. The rains are likely to be less for the rest of the days."

The IMD forecasted that Cyclone Fengal would make landfall in Tamil Nadu, but its effect is likely to remain for a few days, due to which light rainfall is likely in the city. The weather department has advised and warned people to wander near the sea or river, especially for fishermen.
