Kolkata: A day before Foreign Secretary of India Vikram Misri is scheduled to meet Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh, ISKCON Kolkata vice president Radharaman Das on Sunday had posted two videos where the Bangladeshi fundamentalists were heard delivering sermons calling for the extermination of ISKCON devotees and their supporters.
“In the past few days, fundamentalists in Bangladesh have been crisscrossing the country in private jets, delivering sermons calling for the extermination of ISKCON devotees and their supporters. This open call for genocide against minorities in Bangladesh is shocking, and the inaction of the Bangladeshi government in addressing these fundamentalists is even more appalling. These individuals must be arrested immediately; otherwise, such instigations and rumours against ISKCON could lead to mass genocide. Wake up, world,” urged Das.
In the purported video which is not verified by the Free Press Journal (FPJ) one fundamentalist was heard comparing ISKCON with ‘cancer’ and asked the people to ‘uproot it’ from Bangladesh.
After watching the videos, Radharaman Das told FPJ that he is apprehending more violence through such provocative speeches.
“On seeing the videos, we are getting perturbed, just imagine what are monks and Hindus going through when they are seeing the fundamentalists and others doing rallies with swords in their hands in their localities,” mentioned the ISKCON vice president.

Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Trinamool Congress (TMC) slammed BNP’s senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed for asking to capture Bengal, Bihar and Odisha.
Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari said that whatever atrocities are being done in Bangladesh soon a befitting reply will be given from India.
