Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Gold-Plated Urn Installed, Temple Height Now 203 Feet Ahead Of June 5 Ceremony

Ayodhya: A gold-plated urn has been affixed to the main spire of the temple structure in Ayodhya, making the height to 203 feet. A 42-foot brass mast was added on April 29, fabricated by 60 workers over a seven-month period. The managing trust overseeing the site released images of the updated structure on Sunday.
Preparatory rituals are scheduled to begin June 3, leading up to an official installation ceremony on June 5. Seven shrines are to be included in the ceremony, featuring sculpted figures placed on the first floor and within the outer precincts.
A water procession involving participants collecting Sarayu river water is set for June 2. Special prayers across the complex will run from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm on June 3 and 4. The final day’s activities will start at 5:30 am, with the main event planned after 11:00 am.

While the ceremonial setup will proceed on schedule, no date has been announced for when the newly prepared sections will open to the public. The June 5 event will be broadcast live. Preparations continue at the site, including decoration, lighting, and coordination of security logistics.
