Celebrity MasterChef India continues to challenge contestants with exciting tasks each day. Farah Khan has joined as the host for the first time, while Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar have reprised their roles as judges from the original series.
According to recent reports, actress Usha Nadkarni has been eliminated from the cooking show. This comes shortly after Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar actress Ayesha Jhulka’s eviction, who entered as a wild card contestant. However, whether the news about Usha's elimination is true will only be revealed when the episode airs.
Ayesha was evicted after she failed the final challenge of the week by presenting undercooked chicken to the judges—Farah Khan, Ranveer Brar, and Vikas Khanna—leaving them disappointed.
Earlier, Dipika Kakar confirmed her exit from the show, citing health issues. She revealed that she suddenly started experiencing severe pain in her left shoulder, raising concerns. Dipika said that she was on medication and the pain subsided and she continued shooting. However, once the medication course was completed, the pain started again.
Taking to her YouTube channel, Kakar shared that she had been diagnosed with lymph nodes, which were causing the pain. As a result, she decided to quit the show and focus on her health. "Last week when the contestants were celebrating festivals, I started getting pain in my shoulder. Since the time I reached the sets, I started getting shoulder pain and the production people took me to the hospital," she added.
Reportedly, Bigg Boss 16 contestant Shiv Thakare is set to replace Dipika and enter as a wild card entry, though official confirmation is still pending.
