Sky Force starring Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur has done decently well at the box office. The movie is based on a real-life story, and it is a proper two-hero project. Sky Force is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, and Free Press Journal recently interacted with Kewlani, and spoke to him about his upcoming projects.
When asked him which will be his next project after Sky Force, Sandeep said, “I am currently working on two projects, and both of them are on scripting level. Both of them are two-hero films, so there are two A-List actors with whom my discussions are going on. One production house has also agreed to back my next directorial. Just wait for like two months, once things finalise I will inform you. It is going to be India’s biggest two-hero film."
He further revealed that he wishes to work with Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan or Ranbir Kapoor in his next. The filmmaker said, “Someone asked me that you have worked with Bachchan sir (Amitabh Bachchan), Ajay sir, and Akshay sir, so who’s on your bucket list now. This question was asked to me by an audience when I visited a theatre recently, but I am telling you this that I want to work with Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, or Ranbir Kapoor in my next.”
Sandeep had written Bholaa which starred Ajay Devgn and Tabu. The film ended at a point that there will be a sequel to it. So, when we asked Sandeep if there’s any update on Bholaa 2, he said, “That only Ajay sir can tell you. It was his idea to make it into a franchise, so only he can answer this.”
