Ravanasura Trailer: Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja knocks you out with his heroic and villainous act

Earlier on Tuesday evening, the trailer of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's upcoming thriller 'Ravanasura' was revealed online, owing to immense fan buzz generated in the past weeks, given the initial rushes and songs released.

Featuring the actor as a lawyer who moonlights as a murderer, Teja charms and woos you as the hero only to reveal his darker shades as the law closes in on him.

Written by Srikanth Vissa, the film also co-stars Sushanth Anumolu as the prime antagonist, although he is not visibly there in the film's trailer. 'Ravanasura' also features Jayaram as the cop who wants to find out who is the mysterious serial killer.

What aptly stands out is the way the trailer ends with half a profile of Teja against the other half profile of Joker's poster with the line that reads, "We are all bad in somebody's story". Clearly, that is enough to raise the stakes for the film and its fans.

Produced by Abhishek Pictures, the film additionally stars Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar and Poojitha Ponnada. The music of 'Ravanasura' has been composed by Harshavardan Rameshwar and Bheems Ceciroleo.

Following 'Ravanasura', Teja has 'Tiger Nageswara Rao', next in his kitty, opposite Nupur Sanon, who will mark her foray into Telugu cinema. The film will be directed by Vamsee.

Directed by Sudheer Varma, 'Ravanasura' releases in cinemas on April 7.
