Gigi Hadid can't stop raving about THIS Indian food during Mumbai visit

Hollywood supermodel Gigi Hadid is having the time of her life ever since she landed in India last week.

Over the weekend, Gigi attended the inaugural ceremony of the magnanimous Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, and on Sunday, she took a day off to tour around the city with her friends.

Gigi was seen exuding desi girl vibes as she graced the NMACC event in the city donning a saree, and now, she has given yet another reason to all the desis to love her even more.

Gigi was seen enjoying to her fullest the NMACC event hosted by the Ambanis in Mumbai. The hosts made sure that their guests wrapped up the night with their hearts and tummies full and had organised a lavish spread for all the eminent personalities who attended the event.

Among the many delicacies that were served to the guests at the gala event, what particularly won Gigi's heart was none other than the tray of humble chutneys.

Gigi took to her Instagram to share a picture of different varieties of chutney being served at the NMACC event, ranging from sweet mango chutney, to mint chutney, to a spicy chutney, catering to all palettes.

"If events don't have chutney options I'm not going anymore..." Gigi wrote along with the picture.

The Ambanis also served numerous other food items including halwa, aamras, pulao, curries, roti, laddoo, chaat, and more.

Gigi Hadid's Mumbai visit

Gigi makes sure to grab eyeballs wherever she goes and this time too, it was no different. While the supermodel made heads turn in a white and golden chikankari saree at the NMACC event, it was her performance with Varun Dhawan which made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Varun was seen picking Gigi in his arms and spinning her, before kissing her on the cheek and letting her go. A section of the internet called out the actor for kissing Gigi without consent, but he later clarified that it was all planned.

Gigi too shut netizens by thanking Varun for fulfilling her "Bollywood dreams".

On Sunday, Gigi toured around the city and clicked pictures in front of the Gateway of India, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Mumbai University among other spots.
