As India and Pakistan locked horns in the high voltage Champions Trophy 2025 match in Dubai on Sunday, several Indian celebs flocked in the stadium to witness the phenomenon live. Among them were actress Sonam Kapoor and south megastar Chiranjeevi, who were seen cheering for Team India in Dubai.
As Pakistan batters faced the lethal bowling attack of the Indian bowlers, Chiranjeevi was seen greeting a few people in the stadium and interacting with other members of the audience. Tension was etched on his face as Pakistani batsmen hit Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav for multiple boundaries.
Sonam, on the other hand, was accompanied by her husband Anand Ahuja as they hooted for Team India from the stands. The actress exuded boss lady vibes in a simple white top and blue jeans, which she paired with a grey blazer. The couple sipped coffee as they enjoyed the match and hoped for Team India to turn the game in their favour.
While the Champions Trophy is being hosted by Pakistan this year, Team India refused to travel to the neighbouring country citing security issues, and thus, all matches of India have been scheduled to take place in Dubai.
Bollywood actor Sunny Deol too was seen enjoying the India vs Pakistan match on Sunday, albeit he was in Mumbai with none other than former Team India skipper MS Dhoni. The two hugged and greeted each other and were seen discussing the ongoing match as they watched it together.
Deol will reportedly be promoting his upcoming film Jaat during the match. As his video of watching the match played on the screens, commentator Navjot Singh Siddhu quipped, "Gadar macha denge", referring to his cult film, Gadar.
Varun Dhawan too shared a post enjoying the match in the comfort of his home, with his baby girl nestled in his arms.
