About The Scam
The scam involves alleged financial irregularities in the rental of silt pusher machines and dredging equipment by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The EOW alleges that Kadam and co-accused Jay Joshi charged the civic body highly inflated rates for machinery procured from Kochi-based firm Matprop Technical Services Pvt. Ltd. Investigators believe this was done in collusion with executives from Matprop and officials from the BMC’s Storm Water Drains (SWD) department.
Dino Morea’s name surfaced during the analysis of call records and financial transactions linked to the accused. Police officials stated that the actor’s questioning is part of the effort to verify his possible role or knowledge of the dealings between Kadam and other parties. Further investigation is underway.
