IBPS Reserve List 2024 For PO & Clerk Positions Released: Check Details

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the 2024 reserve list for Probationary Officers (PO) and Clerk positions. Candidates who appeared for the written exam can check the Officer Scale I and Office Assistant reserve lists on the official IBPS website, ibps.in.

The provisional allotment reserve list, prepared based on vacancies reported by Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across states, was initially released on October 29. The window to view the allotment letter closed on November 28.

2. On the homepage, locate the IBPS RRB 2024 reserve list link for PO and Clerk positions.

3. Select your respective state when redirected.

4. View the reserve list displayed on the screen.

Proposed Changes to IBPS RRB PO and Clerk Selection Process

IBPS is considering changes to the Local Proficiency Test (LPT) for RRB PO and Clerk positions to enhance the evaluation of local language skills. Key proposals include:

Mandatory Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the local language of their applied region.

Qualification Criteria: Candidates who studied the local language(s) in Class 10 or higher will be deemed proficient with proper certification.

LPT for Selected Candidates: Those qualifying the online exams and interviews without certification will undergo an LPT before joining.

LPT Assessment Committee: Committees formed under Rule 8 of the AOER, 2017, will conduct and evaluate LPTs to ensure fairness.

These changes aim to streamline the recruitment process and ensure candidates meet local language requirements effectively.
