In a significant move to support students from government schools, the Delhi government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the edtech platform ‘Physics Wallah’ to offer free crash courses for CUET and NEET aspirants, as reported by news agency IANS. This initiative will benefit 1,63,000 students from Delhi government schools, providing them with a month-long specialised online coaching program aimed at preparing them for admission to central universities and medical colleges.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasised the importance of this collaboration, stating that it reflects the government’s dedication to ensuring quality education for all students.
, "...Under this initiative, 1,63,000 students studying in Delhi government schools will receive one month of specialized online coaching to help them secure admission to medical colleges and central universities. This collaboration aims to provide quality education and a better future for these students. The MoU was officially signed today, marking a significant step in Delhi Government’s commitment to education," CM Rekha Gupta said, as reported by news agency IANS.
The MoU, signed today, aims to bridge educational gaps and improve learning opportunities for students who want to excel in competitive examinations. As per media reports, the scheme will provide systematic guidance, professional mentorship, and comprehensive study material to assist students in performing well in CUET and NEET entrance examinations.
About CUET And NEET Entrance Exam:
CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is a nationwide entrance test for admitting students at the undergraduate level in central universities in India. It tests the students in languages, humanities, sciences, and social sciences depending upon the course they want to study.
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses (MBBS/BDS) in India. The test evaluates students in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, which are the basic subjects for medical education.
