CLAT 2025 Exam Begins Today: From Reporting Times To What’s Allowed & Prohibited; Check Here

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) is conducting the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2025) today, December 1, 2024. The exam for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs will be held in a single shift from 2 PM to 4 PM.
Admit Card Information
Candidates who have not yet downloaded their admit cards can do so by visiting the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, or using the direct link provided below.
Steps to Download CLAT 2025 Admit Card:
Visit the official website of CLAT 2025.
Log in to your account.
Open the admit card link.
Download the admit card and take a printout for exam day.
Exam Day Guidelines for UG and PG Candidates
Admit Card and Documents: Candidates must carry their admit card and other required documents to the exam center.
Reporting Time:
Entry to the test center begins at 1 PM.
Candidates must be seated in their assigned seats by 1:30 PM.
Exam Duration: Leaving the exam hall is not permitted before 4 PM.
Prohibited Items:
Unauthorized materials like notes, written papers, or electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones, smartwatches) are strictly forbidden.
Devices capable of storing or transmitting information are not allowed unless explicitly permitted.
Conduct Inside the Exam Hall:
Communicating with other candidates in any form is prohibited.
Writing an exam for someone else or allowing another person to take the exam on your behalf is a serious violation.
Altering, tearing, or marking the question booklet improperly is considered misconduct. While underlining passages is allowed, ticking or circling answers in the booklet is not.
If there are errors in the question booklet (e.g., missing pages) or OMR sheet, candidates must inform the invigilator immediately.
Entry Restrictions:
Late entry beyond the prescribed time is not allowed.
Candidates without a valid admit card will be denied entry.
Permitted Items: The only items allowed inside the exam hall are:
A black or blue ballpoint pen.
A transparent water bottle.
An analog watch.
Government-issued ID proof.
Candidates are urged to adhere to all instructions provided on the admit card and by invigilators during the exam. Any violation of rules may result in disqualification.
