Realty Firms Sales Bookings Fall 21% To ₹40,000 Crore, Godrej Properties Tops June Quarter Chart
Sales bookings of 28 major listed developers fell 21 percent to Rs 39,964 crore in Q1 FY27, with Godrej Properties leading despite weakness across the sector.

New Delhi: Sales bookings of 28 major listed real estate companies fell 21% to ₹39,964 crore in the April-June quarter of FY27, compared with ₹50,900 crore a year earlier.
Lower sales volumes, fewer project launches by some large developers and cautious homebuyer sentiment amid global economic uncertainty weighed on the sector. Housing continued to account for the bulk of bookings.
Godrej Properties takes top spot
Godrej Properties emerged as the largest listed developer by sales bookings, with pre-sales rising to ₹8,651 crore from ₹7,082 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Prestige Estates Projects ranked second despite its bookings falling sharply to ₹6,579.3 crore from ₹12,126.4 crore.
Lodha Developers reported bookings of ₹4,630 crore, up from ₹4,450 crore, while Sobha recorded a strong increase to ₹3,656 crore from ₹2,079 crore.
Signature Global’s bookings declined to ₹1,970 crore from ₹2,640 crore.
DLF sees sharp fall
DLF recorded one of the steepest declines, with sales bookings plunging to ₹657 crore from ₹11,425 crore a year earlier. The company did not launch any project during the June quarter.
Oberoi Realty’s bookings fell to ₹1,049.88 crore from ₹1,638.68 crore, while Brigade Enterprises reported ₹1,061 crore against ₹1,118 crore earlier.
Overall, 19 of the 28 developers recorded growth in pre-sales, while nine reported declines.
Several developers post strong growth
Max Estates saw bookings surge to ₹1,093 crore from ₹217 crore, while Mahindra Lifespace more than doubled its pre-sales to ₹925 crore.

Embassy Developments reported bookings of ₹868 crore against ₹198 crore, while Raymond Realty’s sales more than doubled to ₹700 crore.
TARC’s bookings jumped to ₹602 crore from ₹225 crore, while Arvind SmartSpaces increased sales to ₹432 crore from ₹175 crore.
Industry consultants attributed the overall decline to fewer launches, a high year-ago base and cautious buying amid global uncertainties. They expect sales momentum to improve from the second quarter.
