Tech Giant, Microsoft, sacked nearly 9,000 employees, making their 25-year career short-lived. This has proved to be Microsoft's largest workforce reduction in over two years. Chris Bynum was a long-term employee in Customer Success Account Management. In a LinkedIn post, he shared his experience, the post has become viral and widely-read around the world.

According to the Associated Press, 830 employees from Microsoft’s Redmond, Washington headquarters were affected. The company stated that these cuts are part of “organisational changes” needed to thrive in a “dynamic marketplace.”
Xbox CEO Phil Spencer told employees the restructuring was meant to position the gaming division for “enduring success” and future growth.
Microsoft’s latest layoffs—its second mass termination in just a few months and the largest in more than two years—have impacted several divisions, including Xbox and sales.
