The Indian equity markets are in a strange paradigm, this is because, while markets look to draw points of positivity from domestic developments, international factors often sway the indices, pushing them into volatility

A pessimistic investor mentality is causing the benchmark indices to vie during this challenging moment for the Indian equity market.

So, as we move further to the end of the fiscal year 2024-25, we encounter the second last trading holiday in March.

Are The Markets Open Tomorrow?

This will be a truncated week at Dalal Street, as it would be studded with a trading holiday on Friday, March 14, paving way for a longer weekend and market hiatus.

The markets will remain closed on account of Holi. Both the NSE and BSE will be taking a mid-week break on account of this major Hindu festivity.

As of today, Thursday, March 13, in the early hours of the day's trade, the BSE Sensex is trading in green, with some gains. At the time of writing, the Sensex was trading green with a rise of 0.31 per cent or 232.98 points, picking itself up to 74,262.74 points, compared to the previous trading session. | Canva

The markets will have a full-fledged week next week.

The next market holiday arrives on the occasion of Holi, on Monday, March 31, 2025.
