Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): In a shocking incident, a car carrying a patient suddenly caught fire near Pragya Dham on the Jabalpur-Damoh road on Friday. 

The fire completely engulfed the vehicle within moments, but fortunately, the patient and family members escaped timely and remained unharmed. 

After being informed, fire brigade teams arrived at the scene quickly and brought the fire under control. Fire extinguishers were brought to douse the fire, however, by the time it could be controlled, the vehicle had completely destroyed.

According to information, the family was traveling from Damoh district to Jabalpur for medical treatment when the accident happened. 

Police officials have taken the matter into cognizance and are investigating the cause of the fire.

The incident took place around 2 PM. It is said that three people were traveling from Damoh to Jabalpur.

As soon as the car reached near Pragya Dham in the Katangi police station area, smoke suddenly started coming out of it.

The driver acted cautiously and immediately pulled the car over to the roadside, noticing that smoke was rising from the engine.

They quickly evacuated the patient from the car, but within moments, the fire had taken a fierce form.

The patient was later sent to Jabalpur for treatment with the help of an ambulance.
