Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind, where a man lay down on a railway track on Friday evening. The speeding train ran over him, severing his head from the body.
According to reports, the deceased has been identified as Rajiv Joshi, a resident of Manepura village, preliminary information reveals that Rajiv had been under mental stress due to ongoing family problems.

According to railway Police Station Incharge, Pritam Singh Bhadauria, Rajiv was sitting at the railway station for about an hour. At around 5:30 pm, when the Etawah-Kota Passenger train arrived, he boarded the train and got off from the other side.
Witnesses said he was seen roaming around before lying down on the track just as the train began to move. The train’s wheels passed over his neck, and he died on the spot. His head was was severed from his body.
Chaos erupted as the tragic incident took place, RPF immediately reached the spot and with the help of local people, the deceased was identified and the family members were informed.
The body has been sent to the district hospital for postmortem. Railway police has registered a case and started investigation. Legal procedures were completed after the arrival of the family members.

Friends and family cited immense mental stress due to an ongoing family problems as the reason behind taking such an extreme step. Police is investigating the reasons for suicide.
