Shocker! CT Scan Reveals Pair Of Scissors Stuck In Woman's Stomach In MP's Gwalior; Family Suspect Docs Left It During Surgery In 2022

Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): A case of doctors' negligence was reported from Madhya Pradesh's Bhind, where a CT scan revealed a pair of scissors stuck in a woman's stomach on Friday evening.
The 44-year-old woman had undergone a surgery at Kamala Raja Hospital in Gwalior two years ago. Since then, she had been suffering constant pain in the stomach. When medicines did not work, doctors recommended a CT Scan of her stomach.
The report shocked many, including the medical staff, as a pair of scissors was found in her stomach.
It is suspected that during the surgery, the doctors accidently left the scissors inside her stomach and performed the stitches.
Her family members has demanded strict action against the accused doctors.

According to information, 44-year-old Kamla Bai, a resident of Saundha Gohad had undergone a stomach operation at Gwalior's famous Kamla Raja Hospital on February 20, 2024. She had been complaining about the severe pain in her stomach since then. Several doctors were referred and tests were conducted. When she did not get relief despite many medicines, she underwent a CT Scan.

Scan in-charge Satish Sharma said that a metal object was seen in the stomach, which later revealed to be the scissors. The family of the victim Kamala Bai has demanded strict action against the doctors who operated her two years ago. The family said it is due to doctors' negligence that Kamla Bai had to suffer so much pain.
The district hospital officials have said that they will prepare a full report of this matter and send it to the higher authorities.
