Datia (Madhya Pradesh): The court of First Additional Sessions Judge Manjusha Tekam has pronounced the verdict in a five-year-old murder case of Datia on Friday. The court has convicted three men—two brothers and their friend—in the murder of their sister's father-in-law.
The three convicts are identified as Kamal Singh Yadav, a resident of Larayta, and Angad Yadav and K.P. Yadav.
The case dates back to August 13, 2020, when Kamal Singh Yadav, a resident of Larayta, left home with Angad Yadav and K.P. Yadav on the pretext of buying a buffalo. When they did not return home till late at night, the family enquired among relatives. Four days passed, and no clue regarding their location or well-being could be found. Worried, their family approached the Chirula police station and filed the missing complaint.
