MP Shocker! Man Kills 14-Year-Old After Being Refused Goods On Credit In MP's Rewa; Hangs Self Later

Rewa (Madhya Pradesh): A class 9 student lost her life after being hit by a pestle repeatedly in Rewa's Mangwan on Monday morning. Later, the accused hanged himself from a tree before the cops could nab him.

According to the police reports, the accused identified as Chhotelal Kol (22), allegedly killed Booti Verma a 14-year-old girl by brutally hitting her with a pestle.

Investigations revealed, victim's family owned a grocery store in the area, and Kol used to live next door. On Monday morning, a dispute erupted between the girl and Kol over asking for goods on credit from the shop. Upon refusal, Kol violently hit the minor with a pestle.

Victim's grandfather saw this from distance, and rushed to the spot. Before, he could do anything Kol pushed him and fled the spot. Blood was oozing out of the victim's head and ears.

After fleeing , the accused reportedly hanged himself from tree out of fear.

According to SDOP Prajapati, Police rushed to spot immediately after receiving information. A case of murder has been registered and both the bodies are sent to a nearby Community Health Center for postmortem.

Investigations are underway and the family is being vigorously questioned.

It is said that the accused was a regular visitor at Booti's house. Moreover, he had dinner at her house a day before the incident.
