MP News: Miscreants Throw Acid On Minor Girl Sleeping In Field In Morena; Accused On Run

Morena (Madhya Pradesh): Unknown miscreants threw acid on a minor girl sleeping in Morena, leaving her face badly burned on Thursday.

The miscreants fled the spot immediately after carrying out the attack, leaving the injured girl behind and causing panic in the area.

The minor girl had come with her parents for labour work in Devgarh. Her face was badly burned.

How the incident took place?

According to information, the family had come from the Karahal area for wheat harvesting. At the time of the incident, the girl’s parents were cutting wheat in the field, while the girl was sleeping on the edge of the field with other children.

During this time, some unknown persons arrived in a car and threw acid on the girl. After the attack, the accused quickly fled from the spot.

Following the incident, the seriously injured girl was immediately taken to the district hospital in Morena, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

Other children who were sleeping near the girl at the time of the incident were safe and did not suffer any injuries.

However, the girl is in severe pain but is showing strength while undergoing treatment.

After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and started an investigation. Based on the doctor’s report, a case has been registered against unknown accused, who are on the run.

Police officials said they are searching for the suspects and investigating the incident. Further inquiry in the case is ongoing.

The police also assured that the girl will receive full care and that all possible steps will be taken for her recovery.

Right now, the girl’s family is in deep sorrow. All their work has stopped because of the incident, and they said that they have no idea who carried out the attack.
