Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Judicial magistrate first class and additional session judge of Seoni Malwa, Tabassum Khan, has awarded capital punishment to a 30-year-old man for raping a six-year-old girl.
According to reports, the police received a tipoff that a six-year-old girl had gone missing from her house in the Nayapura area on January 2 this year.
A team rushed to the spot and searched for the girl. The girl’s relatives told the police that they had suspected the hands of a youth, Ajay Wadiwa, a resident of Khal Kharda village in Seoni Malwa, behind the incident. The police registered a missing person complaint and began to probe the case.
Because the case was highly sensitive, superintendent of police Gurkaran Singh and sub-divisional officer of police Raju Rajak inspected the spot where the incident took place.
