Madhya Pradesh Hosts First Employment Fair, 384 Youth Secured Jobs

Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh): Member of Parliament Darshan Singh Chaudhary organised the first employment fair to provide job opportunities to educated, unemployed youth.
Held at Krishna Bhoomi ITI in Bankhedi, the event saw participation from hundreds of candidates with qualifications ranging from Class 8 pass to ITI diploma holders.
The fair was inaugurated by MP Chaudhary, Pipariya MLA Thakurdas Nagvanshi and SDM Pipariya (Trainee IAS officer) Anisha Srivastava, attracted prominent companies such as Volvo Eicher, Parmali Walls, and Hind Pharma.
A total of 384 candidates were selected for employment and apprenticeship programmes, earning praise for MP Chaudhary’s efforts to bridge the gap between the youth and opportunities. “This initiative symbolises self-reliance and self-respect for youths,” said Chaudhary, emphasising his commitment to organise more such fairs at the block level.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, stating that it was the first time such a large-scale initiative was taken by an MP in the region. At a parallel event at ITI Narmadapuram, Rajya Sabha MP Maya Narolia and MP Darshan Singh distributed job offer letters and loans under self-employment schemes.
Of the 1,027 registrations, 213 youth secured jobs in various companies, while 40 individuals received self-employment support. A total of 253 participants benefited from the event. The fairs, supported by government departments and private companies, mark a significant step in empowering the youth and addressing unemployment in the region.
