Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, On Friday, announced that the Madhya Pradesh government is making arrangements to provide laptops to meritorious students. He also said that laptops would be distributed shortly.
In fact, in 2009-2010, the Madhya Pradesh government decided to provide laptops to students who score 75% or above in their 12th-grade exams.
However, despite months passing since the announcement of the latest 12th-grade results, students are still waiting to receive their laptops.
Clarification on Scooty Distribution
The Chief Minister also addressed concerns regarding the distribution of scooters to meritorious 12th-grade students. He dismissed rumors about complications in the tender process. He asserted that these claims are entirely false.
Speaking to the media, the CM said, “The meritorious students of the state will be given a scooter by our government as per their preference—either electric or petrol. Some people were spreading confusion about the tender process, which is completely false. Our government will also soon provide laptops to eligible students.”
The distribution process was officially launched at a state-level event in Bhopal on Wednesday, where the Chief Minister handed over keys to ten students as a symbolic gesture. The remaining scooters will be distributed at the district level.
