Jabalpur Warehousing Corp Manager Caught Red-Handed Taking ₹50K Bribe

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A branch manager of Madhya Pradesh Warehousing & Logistics Corporation was caught red handed, accepting a bribe of in Jabalpur on Wedneday.
According to information, Pradeep Patle, was caught by the Lokayukta team while accepting a ₹50,000 bribe in Jabalpur’s Kundam tehsil.
Patle had allegedly demanded ₹92,000 from Guru Nanak Warehouse owner Damneet Singh to manipulate records and adjust a wheat stock shortage.
His intention was to prevent an FIR from being filed against the warehouse.
According to reports, Patle had been pressuring Singh for several days, persistently asking him to pay the bribe.
After repeated pressure, Singh agreed and handed over the first installment of ₹50,000. As soon as the money was exchanged, the Lokayukta team took swift action and caught Patle in the act.
After receiving the bribe, Patle passed the cash to his computer operator, Shailesh Bisen, in an attempt to avoid direct involvement.
Following the operation, the Lokayukta team registered a case against both Pradeep Patle and Shailesh Bisen, making them accused in the bribery scandal.
Further investigation is underway to gather more evidence and take necessary legal action.
