Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Railway organized "Railway International Fatak Diwas," also known as the "International Level Crossing Awareness Day" (ILCAD), a global campaign to raise awareness about the dangers and safety at level crossings. It is observed annually on June 5th.
The campaign was led by Railway teams and aims to improve road users' understanding of risks and encourage safe behavior.
Main activities of the campaign: This campaign was run in all major railway sections including Guna-Gwalior, Bina-Bhopal-Itarsi, and Itarsi-Khandwa. Artists of the Cultural Academy of Bhopal Division staged street plays at Gate No. 246 near Misrod station and gave safety messages to the people through real-life situations.
