Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Gwalior police, during a surprise raid, uncovered a sex racket being run at Gwalior’s massage parlor ‘The Healing Hand Massage Therapy’ in Patel Nagar.
In the operation, six women along with two customers, the manager, and the parlor owner, were detained.
According to information, the raid was led by ASP Crime Branch Krishna Lalchandani. He was instructed by Gwalior SP Dharmveer Singh Yadav, who received a tip-off about illegal activities at the massage parlor.
Women were brought from different cities
It is said that the police sent an undercover officer posing as a customer to confirm the allegations. After verification, the team raided the premises, where they found six women from Bengal, Delhi, Agra, Mathura, and Gwalior.
During the investigation, police seized objectionable materials, cash, mobile phones, and accounting records from the parlor.
The manager, Devendra Sharma, a Mumbai resident earning ₹25,000 per month, revealed that the parlor was leased by Pratesh Chaurasia, a resident of Gwalior.

The police discovered that the parlour offered women to customers for ‘massage services’ with deals ranging from ₹1k to ₹5k paid in cash or online. The women admitted they were brought from various cities, raising suspicions of women trafficking.
All individuals involved, including the customers, manager, and parlor owner, were taken into custody. At present, police are interrogating the suspects to uncover further details. Officials suspect a larger network and anticipate more revelations during the investigation.
Regarding the case, ASP Krishna Lalchandani said that the raid was part of an effort to curb illegal activities in the city. He stated, "The women found at the parlor were from different cities, which strengthens our suspicion of women trafficking. The investigation is ongoing, and we expect significant breakthroughs."
