Bhopal: Thundershower with lightning to continue today

BHOPAL (Madhya Pradesh): Moderate thunderstorms with lightning are likely to continue over Raisen along with the light thunderstorm with lightning over Narmadapuram, Pachmarhi, Harda, Khandwa and Betul in the next few hours on Friday.

With the advancement of monsoon, agriculture department has launched a campaign to aware the farmers.

The time for sowing of Kharif crops is near. Keeping in view the changing scenario of the season, farmers are being motivated to increase the area of pulses crops like moong, urad, tur, etc. in place of the traditional soybean crop, as well as to encourage the farmers to do low-cost natural farming and a plan has been drawn up to provide training.

For the sowing of crops in the Kharif year 2022, a sufficient quantity of chemical fertilizers, urea, D.A.P. The storage of NPK complex and single super phosphate has been done in cooperative service societies and in private institutions.

Apart from DAP, Urea, farmers should also use fertilizers containing potash and sulfur in their fields to get a good yield of crops. Also, before sowing the crops, seed treatment must be done, to maintain the fertilizer power of the land, also use organic fertilizers. There are sufficient fertilizers in sufficient quantity in the district so that the farmers can use the fertilizers in Kharif crops according to the demand.
