Bhopal: Three Arrested For Faking Murder Attempt To Frame Rivals; Police Expose Conspiracy
An FIR has been registered against them for trying to give false information and other relevant sections, police said.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In a bid to frame their opponents in a case of attempt to murder, three persons cooked up a story of firing on them. They shot at one of their aides in his leg and admitted him to Hamidia Hospital while naming their opponents during police investigation. However, joint teams of Ratibadh police and crime branch exposed the conspiracy and arrested the trio on Sunday.
An FIR has been registered against them for trying to give false information and other relevant sections, police said. DCP, crime, Akhil Patel said Vikas Tiwari of Vidisha informed Ratibadh police on March 14 that his friend Shailendra Singh Rajput (30) was shot at in his right leg while they were at Kerwa Dam.

Shailendra was admitted to Hamidia Hospital by Vikas and his friend Sanjay Namdev. However, police officials were suspicious of their claims and launched a thorough investigation. Police teams scanned footages of 1,000 cameras but presence of assailants at the place could not be established.
Following a probe, police learnt that Vikas Tiwari shot at Shailendra Rajput in his car and cooked up the story of firing at them in a bid to frame their rivals in the case. The trio have been arrested and were being questioned further, DCP added. Vikas Tiwari (30) has 17 criminal cases registered against him at different police stations of Bhopal and Vidisha district while Sanjay Namdev (46) has nine cases against him in Vidisha while the injured Shailendra Rajput has three cases against him.
