All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen ( AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi was in BHopal to canvass for his party candidates in civic body polls.
Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh): The All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen ( AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi has condemned the gruesome murder that took place in Udaipur in Rajasthan saying such violence can’t be defended. Addressing a gathering here on Tuesday night for canvassing his party candidates in civic body polls Owaisi said, “I condemn the gruesome murder in Udaipur, Rajasthan. There can be no justification for it. Our party’s consistent stand is to oppose such violence.”
He said no one can take law in their own hands. We demand that the state government takes strictest possible action. Rule of law must be upheld. Law doesn’t allow anyone to murder any person.
“We demand again that action be taken against Nupur Sharma under IPC and CrPC and that she should be arrested but no one is allowed to take law in his hand. Remember! You can’t kill anyone. This is a crime. As no one has right to kill Iqlakh no one has right to kill the tailor of Udaipur too”, he said.
He said the Constitution was supreme in the country. There was no room for violence. I demand that strictest action be taken under IPC and CrPC against those who indulged in the violence (in Udaipur).
Addressing the gathering he said if they believed in the God (Allah) and considered themselves slaves of the God they should not lose their hope. Hope must be kept alive for the sake of God.
“You believe my words that the cloud of injustice and atrocities will definitely disappear with the mercy of the God. But you will have to come forward to become a leader and strengthen the AIMIM that can be done with power of your votes”, he told the gathering.
Attacking the Congress he said, “After I leave Bhopal in the morning tomorrow the Congressmen will spend sleepless nights. Now, they will come to your doorstep for seeking votes which they were not doing earlier.”
