Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A group of residents from Scindia Nagar took an unusual step to address their ongoing power issues.
Frustrated by a five-hour power cut that left them sweltering in the heat, the ‘baraatis’ boarded a bus and made their way to the bungalow of Energy minister Pradhuman Tomar late at night.
Despite the minister's earlier surprise visit, during which residents voiced their complaints, the power outage persisted.
With temperatures rising and tempers flaring, the community decided to take matters into their own hands. Upon arriving at the minister's residence, they created quite a scene and demanded immediate action to restore power.
Responding to the uproar, Minister emerged to address the crowd. He reprimanded his department's officials and swiftly ensured that power was restored to Scindia Nagar.
The residents finally departed, satisfied with the resolution of their grievances. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media platforms.
