A disturbing incident of workplace violence has been reported at the Navet veterinary clinic in Durango, Mexico, where staff members were assaulted following the death of a patient.
Dr Emmanuel Nava, the veterinarian who operates the clinic located on Alberto Terrones Street, has come forward with allegations of intimidation and physical assault against his team.
According to Dr Nava's account, the incident began when a woman brought her dog to the clinic seeking a second opinion for the pet's respiratory distress. Despite the medical team's efforts, the animal died while at the facility.
CCTV camera footage, which has since gone viral on social media, captured the aftermath of the pet's death. The clinic staff has expressed serious concerns about their safety and physical wellbeing following this aggressive encounter. They have formally requested that local authorities investigate the incident and take appropriate measures to ensure their protection.
Local police have not yet issued a statement regarding their investigation into the matter.
