A dramatic flight broke out on a flight from Shenzhen to Shanghai. Two women seated next to each other raised concerns over their body odour and perfume smell, which escalated into a ruckus onboard, delaying the flight for about two hours. The cabin crew intervened and tried to settle the fight, but they were attacked by one of the women.

The fight erupted before the flight could take off from Shenzhen to Shanghai, China. The incident was reported on a Shenzhen Airlines flight on April 1, 2025. It started when a woman complained about her fellow passenger's body odour, with another striking at her strong perfume. The duo objected to each other's smell.

Visuals from the aircraft showed two uniformed air hostesses trying to control the situation and hold the two women from becoming aggressive. However, one of them ends up injuring a female cabin crew member. After biting the staff, she also scratched the woman she was fighting with.
Both were deboarded from the flight and police were called to address the matter. According to a report in the South China Morning Post, the flight attendant suffered slight injuries to her arm and was sent to a hospital for medical attention.

The airline company released a statement on the incident on Weibo acknowledging the incident. ". The passenger involved was handed over to the police for handling. Shenzhen Airlines will do its utmost to protect the legitimate rights and interests of passengers and employees, and calls on all passengers to abide by flight regulations and travel in a civilized manner", read their message.
