'Doctors Are Very Easy To Find': Woman Lists Down 10 Reasons Why She Finds India Better Than America

Kristen Fischer, an American woman living in India, shared factors she felt India were better in India than in the US. It ranged from healthcare to transport. She commented that India had better facilities for its people than what America provided to its citizens. In her recent video, she listed down ten things she wished America had like India. Her video impressed many from her 133K follower family and went viral with more than two million views.

"These are ten things India does that I wish we had in America", she wrote while running down her list with digital money transfers, transport services in Indian cities, convenience of delivery apps, doctor availability, waste management, vegetarian food options, and much more.

Digital India

Her video opened by drawing light on digitalisation in the country. "Everything seems to be digital, from IDs to UPI payments. It's all online and super convenient", she said while dropping positive feedback on Digital India. "I can go out with only my phone and that is enough. I think Unified Payment Interface (UPI) is something the whole world should adopt", she added.

Healthcare

Further, she spoke about an important factor, health and healthcare in India. She suggested America was a step behind in both doctor consultations and both medicine procurement. In her opinion, "Doctors are very easy to find in India. Most of the time no appointments are necessary and no prescriptions are needed for medication. In America, you have to make an appointment weeks or even months ahead of time to see a doctor".

"Coming to India was the first time I ever had a doctor prescribe a Probiotic to take alongside an Antibiotic. It makes sense to me to take those two together to save the gut", the American woman added.
