Vivo V70 FE With 7,000mAh Battery, 90W Charging Launched In India: Priced Starting At Rs. 37,999

Vivo V70 FE has launched in India as the third and most accessible addition to its V70 lineup, sitting below the V70 and V70 Elite. Compared to the standard V70, the Vivo V70 FE trades the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, ZEISS branding, and 6,500mAh battery for a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, a non-ZEISS 200-megapixel primary camera, and a larger 7,000mAh battery. The screen is also bigger at 6.83-inches versus the V70's 6.59-inches, and this is the first time Vivo has introduced a Vivo V70 FE variant within the V-series.

Vivo V70 FE price in India

The Vivo V70 FE is priced at Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, Rs. 40,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, and Rs. 44,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The phone is available in two colour options: Northern Lights Purple and Monsoon Blue. The Northern Lights Purple variant features vivo's first Darkness Glow Technology, where the back panel emits soft luminous waves in low-light environments after exposure to UV light or sunlight. The Monsoon Blue offers a deeper, composed finish.

The phone is available for pre-order on Amazon, Flipkart, vivo.com, and offline retail stores. Vivo V70 FE will go on sale on April 9.

Vivo V70 FE Specifications

The Vivo V70 FE features a 6.83-inch 1.5K Ultra-Clear flat OLED display with a resolution of 2800x1260 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 449 PPI, HDR10+ certification, and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo 4nm octa-core processor in a 4+4 core architecture, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage across configurations of up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

On the camera front, the V70 FE carries a dual rear camera system headlined by a 200-megapixel Ultra-Clear main camera with a 1/1.56-inch HP5 sensor, a self-developed OIS system, CIPA 4.0 Ultra Stabilisation, an f/1.9 aperture, support for up to 30x AI SuperZoom, 4K stable video recording, and AI Aura Light. It is paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view. The front camera is a 50-megapixel Eye AF Group Selfie Camera with autofocus, an f/2.2 aperture, a 92-degree field of view, a 1/2.76-inch sensor, and support for 4K front recording. The AI Photography Suite includes AI Magic Weather, AI Magic Landscape, AI Four-Season Portrait, AI Floral Blessing, AI Erase, AI UHD, AI Best Face, and Film Camera Mode 3.0. Super Motion Snapshot is also supported for fast-action capture, along with Multi-focal Portrait modes at 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm.

The phone is backed by a 7,000mAh BlueVolt silicon carbon battery with 90W FlashCharge fast charging, which vivo claims charges the device from 1 percent to 100 percent in approximately 60 minutes. It also supports Multi-Scenario Bypass Charging to minimise heat and preserve battery longevity over time. Vivo claims the battery supports up to 43.8 hours of YouTube video playback and 13 hours of Mobile Legends gaming. It carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, with vivo claiming 120 minutes of submersion in 1.5 metres of water and 48 hours of rain resistance. The phone also supports underwater photography.

The V70 FE features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, symmetrical dual stereo speakers with Gaming HyperSense Audio support, an ultra-large VC smart cooling system, and AI SuperLink for improved network coverage. Connectivity includes 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5 dual-band, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, an IR blaster, NFC, and USB Type-C. It runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6, with vivo promising four major OS updates and six years of security maintenance. Software features include Origin Island for real-time system status, AI Search, AI Creation, AI Captions, Google Gemini integration, and Private Space for encrypted file storage. One-Tap Transfer and vivo Office Kit for cross-device collaboration are also available.
