Australia's pace spearhead Mitchell Starc expressed his frustration as rain interrupted yet again on day four of the third Test against India at the Gabba in Brisbane. With Starc standing on the top of his mark and the umpires calling the players to go off, the New South Welshman threw his head back as a video of that went viral.

The incident occurred a few overs before the tea break as Starc seemed determined to take out Mohammed Siraj; however, the showers reared its head again to break their momentum. After expressing his frustration, the left-arm speedster went to have a conversation with the umpires.

Below is the video of the same:

Rain has indeed been a constant source of pet peeve, especially for Australia on day two as it halted their momentum on day three when they reduced the tourists to 51/4. It also broke their momentum on multiple occasions on day four, thereby impeding their efforts to push for victory.

Australia fail to enforce follow-on on day four in Brisbane

Meanwhile, the hosts could not separate the final pair on day four despite having them at 213/9 at one stage. Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah toughened it out for an unbroken 39-run stand to take India to a total of 246 and avoid the follow-on at the Gabba.

While India still trail by Australia's first innings score of 445 by 193 runs, they have successfully ensured that the opposition will bat again. With rains predicted for day 5 as well, Australia face an uphill challenge to force victory.
