'Isse Better Time Kya Ho Sakta Hai': Rishabh Pant Starts Foundation; To Donate 10% Commercial Earnings For Social Causes; Video

Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has announced that he will donate 10% of all his commercial earnings to the Rishabh Pant Foundation going forward. Through this initiative, he aims to support both cricketing & social causes.

Pant, who is set to play a key role for India in the upcoming Champions Trophy, considers this project very special. He plans to share more details in the coming months. A video was shared by Rishabh Pant on social media were he said:

“Everything I am, everything I have is because of the beautiful sport of cricket and all that I have learnt from life. I am grateful to be in the position that I am and off late, I have thought through deeply about giving back to the sport and the society in large.

Ab isse better time kya ho sakta hai? Going forward, I am dedicating 10% of all my commercial earnings towards the Rishabh Pant Foundation. Main bahut excited hu and I can't wait to get started and share more about this plan with all of you,” Pant said.

Rishabh Pant's career so far

Pant has been a vital part of Team India since his debut in 2017. He has played 150 international matches across formats and was instrumental in India’s T20 World Cup triumph last year, which ended an 11-year ICC trophy drought.

While he has excelled in all formats, his performances in Test cricket have been particularly noteworthy, with centuries in Australia, England, and South Africa an exceptional feat for an Indian wicketkeeper.

His impact has also been recognized in the IPL, where he made history by becoming the most expensive player ever. Lucknow Super Giants signed him for a record ₹27 crore and named him captain. Having previously led India in T20Is and captained Delhi Capitals, Pant is often seen as a future leader for Indian cricket.
