Team India have managed to gain further ascendancy as Mohammed Siraj and Washington Sundar struck after Shubman Gill enforced the follow-on in the second Test as the hosts held a 270-run lead. Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Alick Athanaze were the ones to fall before the players took a tea break.

Kuldeep Yadav has earned his well-deserved fifer as the West Indies were bowled out for 248 on Day 3 of the second Test against at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. West Indies' lower-order proved pesky in nature but it could not prevent them from avoiding the follow-on after India decided to declare at 518/5. Shubman Gill, meanwhile, has decided to enforce the follow-on.

Team India left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav opened the floodgates for the hosts as the hosts gained further ascendancy on Day 3 of the second Test against the West Indies in Delhi. The left-arm wrist-spinner took three wickets, while Mohammed Siraj took one as four West Indian batters perished. Kharry Pierre and Anderson Phillip have shown some resistance but they still 301 runs.

India declared their innings before Tea on Day 2 as centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill drove their total to a mammoth 518/5. Following that, the spinners worked their magic with the ball, led by Ravindra Jadeja, who picked up three out of the four wickets to fall. Meanwhile, the West Indies showed credible resilience after John Campbell fell for 10 early in the innings. Tagenaraine Chanderpaul and Alick Athanaze displayed proactivity against Indian spinners, stitching a 66-run partnership but lost wickets in clumps to find themselves under pressure. Shai Hope, who has looked good for his 31, must carry on to play a long innings if the tourists are to have an opportunity of challenging India.
